1. Self hate? Check!
2. Nothing to wear? Check!
3. Afraid to leave the house? Check!
I could go on and on. The checklist of (some) obese people, including myself. When I say I have nothing to wear, I really have plenty, but nothing fits. NOTHING fits. I have worn out every pair of jeans, bought the biggest sizes, resorted to stretch pants and jogging pants, I can only wear sneakers. So why would I live like this? I have no clue. I may never find out, but honestly, I don't know if I care so much about "why", I just know I don't want to be like this anymore. Being out of breath tying my shoes, dreading going ANYWHERE because I have nothing to wear, worrying about fitting into seats or booths, etc. I don't want to do any of this anymore.
This is my 1,000,000 time attempting to lose weight. Ok, that might be an exaggeration, an UNDERexagerration. My current weight is 360 lbs. Cutting out fast food and junk food is my main focus right now, along with some kind of exercise. I went to yoga today for the first time in my life. It was a lot of fun, but I couldn't do most of the moves, and I definitely couldn't do anything that involved sitting on the ground, but I did my best and I'll continue going.
